What Exactly is the Kinterra System?

It's a powerful prosthetic system that combines a hydraulic ankle with dorsi-assist spring, an EnduraCore® foot module, a male pyramid connection, and a Spectra sock. These features work together to provide amputees with improved mobility, stability, and comfort.

Our Prosthetics Team Lead, Drew Buffat, played a crucial role in setting up five of our patients with the Kinterra devices. We are thrilled to report that these pioneering amputees have successfully tried out the new PROTEOR USA Kinterra foot-ankle system, and we invite you to join them for a walkabout in Pittsburgh to see the system in action.  Check out the Proteor video below!
