Lance Johnston
Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co. Patient Story: Meet Lance Johnston
Lance was involved in a motorcycle accident and lost his left arm and my left leg. He was traveling too fast around curve in the road and collided head-on with a car. Lance immediately lost his arm at the accident and his leg was so badly damaged it was later amputated to save his life.
“Union staff really made me feel comfortable with their knowledge. I knew when I came here that they knew what they were doing. You could just tell. You could walk around the whole place and look at all the pictures from how many years ago, that these guys have been doing it for a long time, so if you want experience, you need to come here. I mean, this is third generation, how much more experience do you want?”
“If it wasn't for Union, I probably wouldn't be able to cut my grass and weed whack in the backyard. Active, outdoor stuff, which I love to do. I can't stand being in the house or behind a desk. I need to be outside doing something, and I'm able to do that because of Union Prosthetics. If I have any problems, they're right on top of it, so it's no worries. As long as they're around, I'm good.”
