Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co., based in Pittsburgh, PA, is proud to partner with DTCare, a global humanitarian relief charity. Union O&P continually donates orthotics, specialty shoes, and prosthetic components to DTCare's international humanitarian aid program. DTCare distributes these emergency relief supplies and O&P devices to disaster-affected and war-torn regions around the globe, supporting civilians, first responders, and nonprofits.

DTCare is committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable communities around the world. Founded in 2019, the organization operates across four continents, with satellite offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, South Africa, and Ukraine, as well as a flagship office in the United States. Their mission is to provide empathy, opportunities, and essential resources to those in need during times of crisis, striving to leave the world a better place than they found it.

2025

Recently, our shipment of orthotics and prosthetics donations arrived at Ternopil National Medical University, which is one of only four universities in war-stricken Ukraine that offers a prosthetics education program. Courtney Robson, DTCare Representative, informed us that, “These items are in active use in both patient care and student education, and they are making a huge difference in training methods and patient treatment.”

In May, our donations of O&P devices and equipment were packed onto pallets with other DTCare emergency relief supplies and shipped to Ukraine for humanitarian aid distribution.

2023

In 2023, we donated orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) to DTCare for an emergency relief shipment to the Mindy Foundation in Kyiv, Ukraine. This shipment included six pallets of relief supplies, along with various medical equipment, which was used to assist soldiers recovering from injuries.

2022

In 2022, Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co. donated over 100 pairs of diabetic shoes to DTCare for global distribution.
