Union O&P Proudly Celebrates POP Month 2026

Throughout March, we invite our certified practitioners to share their stories—their passion for prosthetic, orthotic, and pedorthic (POP) care, and the meaningful impact they have on our patients and their families every single day. Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co. is proud to serve as a 2026 POP Month Partner.

What is POP Month?

POP Month, organized by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC), is a month-long celebration of the prosthetic, orthotic, and pedorthic profession. Each March, it highlights the dedication, expertise, and compassion of the clinicians who provide essential care to patients across the country.

Celebrating Our Practitioners

This year, we proudly recognize and share the POP stories of:

Ali Sinagra – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, Pediatric Orthotist
Jenna DiMenno – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist
Donny Kuhl – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Their commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care exemplifies what POP Month is all about. We’re grateful for the professionalism, skill, and heart they bring to Union O&P and to the communities we serve.

Ali Sinagra – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, Pediatric Orthotist

“A career in pediatric orthotics is incredibly rewarding because it combines technical skill with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. Orthotists help improve mobility, independence, and confidence for kids with a variety of physical challenges. The field blends engineering, medicine, and creativity to design devices that support growth and development. One of the most fulfilling aspects is building relationships with children and their families while watching patients reach milestones, they may not have thought possible.”

Jenna DiMenno – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

“One of the best parts of being part of a rehabilitation team is being able to celebrate patients’ milestones regardless of age. Whether it is celebrating a baby’s graduation from a cranial remolding helmet, helping someone with paraplegia walk again, or a kid taking pride in their new DAFO design, I am here to cheer them on with pride beaming in my smile.”

Donny Kuhl – Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

“I take great pride in having worked in this field for 25 years. I started as a prosthetic technician and felt something was “missing” by not being able to see how the prosthesis I fabricated fit the patient and enhanced their mobility. After going back to school at Northwestern University to become a certified prosthetist/orthotist, I feel “complete” being able to see success stories from start to finish.”
